On The Move Investigations

A.C. Worthington, founder and owner of On The Move Investigations, is a native of Northern California and attended Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California, where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Communications. 

 

A.C. began her career in law enforcement in 2002 with the San Francisco Police Department and worked patrol until 2007, when she was handpicked to join the department’s city wide plain clothes Fugitive Recovery Enforcement Team.  There, she worked along side with special agents from the local FBI, ATF and US Marshal SF field offices, as well the California Department of Corrections LEIU Team to apprehend some of the most wanted felons in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

In 2010, A.C. was promoted to the rank of Inspector and joined the department’s Investigations Bureau where she conducted investigations of various general felony crimes, including but not limited to grand thefts, burglaries, robberies, aggravated assaults and stalking.   In 2013, when she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, she decided to continue her law enforcement career in investigations.  

In 2017, A.C. joined the department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit under the investigative umbrella of the Special Victim’s Unit (SVU).  There, she conducted ICAC investigations involving child pornography, cyber bullying, and Human Trafficking cases.  She obtained credentials as a Cross Designated Task Force Officer with the Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations. 

Due to A.C.’s handling of several complex investigations which led to successful captures and lengthy prosecutions of several dangerous felons, she was recognized by the San Francisco Police Department and Police Commission and was awarded numerous Police Commission Commendations and Meritorious Conduct Awards.  

 

A.C. has significant experience in courtroom testimony in both state and federal court proceedings.   She also received training in The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation as well as advanced training from the Robert Presely Institute of Criminal Investigation in Child Abuse.
